In 2011 we have seen unprecedented global change. These changes create new challenges for us and especially for the pastors we work with. The economy in most of these nations fluctuates at an accelerated rate which puts an added burden on their ability to fulfill the vision God has given them. We have a heart to rally round these anointed men and women of God who are passionately giving their all to serve the cause of Christ. For example, Pastor Nestor in Togo, West Africa is the head of the pastoral alliance. He is leading the charge to disciple pastors in remote areas who would otherwise be forgotten. His greatest need is for two MOTORBIKES which will give him and another pastor freedom to travel to these inaccessible areas. Having the ability to access these pastor causes their productivity to skyrocket! Travel to these areas is very dangerous because of the natural diseases they encounter plus they are encroaching on the territory of very powerful witch doctors who dominate much of the culture. The Macedonian call remains to come over and help. We need 120 people who can give $25.00 each to aid in purchasing two motorbikes. Together we can provide needed resources as well as training. Would you prayerfully consider sending a gift today? As you may recall, I was just in Niamey, Niger with a team from Global Advance to conduct a pastor’s conference. Our hosts, Neal and Danette Childs are working with local churches to provide millet grinders for remote village pastors. Millet is the main staple for food in these areas and most of the millet is ground by hand. By putting one of these millet grinders in a village it will produce enough income to support a pastor and his family and one employee to run the grinder. Read Entire Update |
